Preparing for the power supply

Use the cardboard tool on top of the covering to mark the position of the slot.

 

Please cut the aluminium on the edge.

 

Please use a screwdriver to shape the hole (as shown in the installation instruction) 

Making the cable slot watertight

Insert the cord leader into the slot

Hammer on it until it fits tightly around hole.

 

Remove and dispose of the red plastic protection.

Installing the brackets holding roller shutter top case

Position the top brackets onto the covering as shown on the image  

 

 

Mark the hole with a pen.

 

Predrill the holes for the screws (please use the correct size of drill). 

 

Add butyl onto the hole to make sure it keeps watertight. 

 

Please fix the case holder. 

 

 

Please repeat the entire process on the other side of the window. 

Installing brackets for the lower trundle

Position the brackets for the trundle onto the side covering at the bottom sash as shown on the image.

 

 

Mark the holes with a pen. The position is correct, when the lower hole covers the existing screw that fixes the window covering.

 

Remove the screw from the window covering

Drill the extra hole.

 

 

Apply butyl to make the holes watertight.

 

 

Please fix the brackets for the trundles by using the shimmed screws. Afterwards please repeat the entire procedure on the other side of the window

Installing the roller shutter top case

Place the case onto the top of the window.

 

Separate the supply cable

 

Put the cable through the cord leader on the top covering until the plastic cover fits tightly.

 

 

Fix the plastic cover and the cable leader onto the top covering. Please use the separate screws from the cord leader bag.

 

Install the top case onto the brackets

 

Use the lower hole on the brackets

 

Secure the case and apply the safety ring

Installing the roller shutter frame

Assemble the frame. Connect the side channels and the bottom frame

 

 

Fix the frame parts together. Use the torx screws

 

 

Install the frame to the trundles. Check if the trundles run correctly in the side rails on both sides

 

Connect the open side rails to the top case as shown on the image.

 

 

Fix the frame to the top case. Use the proper shorter screws

Connecting the roller shutter to the control unit

Locate the cable on the roller shutter.

 

Install the extention connector

 

Insert the cable with two cords from the the control unit in the electrical kit. Match the cords and the connector by color.

 

Locate the long connector on the control unit

 

 

Remove the connector from the control unit

 

Insert the proper cords to the connector (match the colors)

 

 

Secure the cords in the connector

Connecting the sensor

Remove the back of the sensor included in the electrical kit to prepare to connect it to the control unit

 

 

 

Please find the three cords in the sensor cable and connect the pins as shown on the image

 

 

Install the back of the sensor onto the wall in the required position

 

 

 

Put the sensor cover back on

 

 

 

Connect the sensor to the connector in the control unit by matching the colours and fix the cords

 

 

Place the connector back in the control unit

 

Connecting the remote control

Please place batteries into the remote control

 

 

Tune the remote control and the sensors onto the same frequency by pushing the buttons on both the remote control and the sensor at the same time and hold them for 5 seconds

 

Testing the roller shutter

You can now test the shutter. Please note that you can operate the roller shutter regardless of whether the window is open or closed.
